The Fox & Crow 

About this Project

Recognizing the need for a renovation, the University of Prince Edward Island rendered the interior design services of SableARC Studios in 2017 to turn the once dark and outdated campus pub, previously known as ‘The Wave,’ into a bright and sophisticated pub/pseudo-library where students can study and socialize while enjoying a cold beverage at the same time; this new and improved space is now known as the ‘Fox & Crow’ pub, and is located within the Student Union building. The ‘Fox & Crow’ now boasts a sleek bar, a small café, a games area, a space for live music and flexible seating. The exposed brick and ductwork, as well as the custom-designed leather banquettes gives the space a rough, industrial character, while the pop of ‘SableARC green’ and bright light fixtures modernizes the space; this balance was key to creating a comfortable space that students would want to spend all their time in.
