Charlottetown Public Works Building

About this Project

This 25,000 ft² Net Zero facility was designed to provide space for City maintenance functions, including shops and office space. Importantly, this is the first building design to meet the Zero Carbon standard as required by the City’s sustainability strategy. The building features a rapidly assembled pre-engineered base building with geothermal energy and a 100 kW rooftop-mounted (PV) panel array, effectively moving this building off the grid and capable of operating through grid shut downs.
